Join Us at The Longest Night Campaign
Dear Friend,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to this year’s Longest Night Event – our annual evening of raising awareness about the most vulnerable within our communities.
This year we are returning to our favorite view from the Chart House in Weehawken on Thursday, November 30th, starting at 6:00 pm.
As many of you know, the need for safe, warm nights of shelter continue to be the challenge for the homeless here in Hudson County and beyond. Our efforts to provide permanent, decent housing for all, be it an affordable home for a first time buyer or a single night of shelter at PERC, ultimately we all need a warm, safe place to lay our heads.
You can make a commitment to your community and to addressing the needs of those that are less fortunate, by sponsoring and attending our event. Your sponsorship will provide immediate, emergency help – to families facing eviction, parents without food to put on the table, and homeless men and women who need a warm, safe place to sleep.
So, please join us as we emerge from the very challenging past few years and let us gather to celebrate our new name, Garden State Community Development Corp., our new home base of Union City and our steadfast and committed, consistent and uninterrupted efforts to provide the best possible support for the many folks we serve.
